Health Awareness at Sheffield Events
The comfort and enjoyment of our hosts and their guests are of utmost importance. We work individually with each host to ensure the performance environment is comfortable for their guests and our artists. The beauty of a Sheffield performance is that hosts participate in setting the rules, including vaccination, mask wearing and seating capacity limits for their event.
During the 2021-22 season, we require the following of all players and audience members:
Full vaccination: proof of vaccination and/or booster
High-quality masks: N95, KN95, and KF94 are all acceptable and must be worn at all times. A limited number of masks will be available on site if you are unable to obtain one.
In addition, any of the following protocols may be in place at select performances, and will be communicated directly with hosts and guests:
No intermission
No reception
No food or drink
Air filtration system
All Sheffield artists are fully vaccinated, PCR tested weekly & rapid tested daily when rehearsing or performing; and we are encouraged by the high vaccination rate among Massachusetts adults. A survey from ArtsBoston's Audience Outlook Monitor showed that 97% of arts goers in Greater Boston are fully vaccinated.
